In Revelation 18, we have an end time call that is to go around the world. That call is a most urgent message from God, for His people to 'come out of Babylon.' And there are dire consequences for those who ignore God's warning. But the church leaders are rejecting God's warning and are deceiving the masses into uniting together for 'peace and love', no matter what their beliefs are. And they are calling this "the work of the Holy Spirit." But what spirit is REALLY behind this? At a recent event in Malaysia, leaders of various churches called their flocks to an ecumenical gathering:

"Heads of churches and senior clergy have called on Christians from various denominations to participate in the first interdenominational gathering of such a mammoth scale in Sarawak ... We must work together, for we are one in the unity of Christ and one in the celebration of the gift of the Holy Spirit ... Poh, who is Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kuching ... Bishop of the Anglican Church in Sarawak and Brunei ... Clergy and representatives from the Baptist Church, Presbyterian Church, Seventh Day Adventist Church, Lutheran Church, Bethany Church, Latter Rain Church, and a host of other independent churches have also assured their support for Pentecostal Night." According to this news article, over 50,000 people attended this ecumenical gathering. And this is happening all over the world today. The churches are coming together to unite on 'common ground' for the sake of 'peace.' And what do they believe will happen if all the churches come together in unity? That the Holy Spirit will be poured out. But in reality, what spirit will be poured out upon them? The spirit of Satan. Look at what God says about being united with those who reject the truth:

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 ...'And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.'

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 ...'Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.'

NOTE: An 'unbeliever' is anyone who rejects the truth of God's Word, whether they profess to believe in Jesus or not.

Revelation 18:1-4 ...'And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.'

As our Whore of Babylon page confirms, Babylon is the Roman Catholic Church [THE MOTHER] and the fallen Protestant churches [THE DAUGHTERS]. And while the leaders are deceiving the flocks into uniting with them, God is calling His people OUT of these churches, so that they don't receive of Babylon's sins and plagues. This is such an important warning! But because the people are not receiving the 'love of the TRUTH', then they are falling for the delusion that Satan is bringing upon this world through the fallen churches. Look again at what God said:

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.'

The leaders of this ecumenical movement are telling us to put differences aside and unite on 'common' ground. But do you know what they are telling us to to? To PUT AWAY the 'sword of the Spirit', which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17). That's right! While God is telling us to put on the WHOLE armour of God, the church leaders are telling us NOT to put on the whole armour and to LEAVE the sword of the Spirit. And what will happen if we put away the sword of the Spirit? We will not be able to fight against spiritual darkness and deception from Satan.

It is the spirit of Satan driving this ecumenical movement, NOT the Holy Spirit.

The saddest part of all this is seeing the church God set up to take the three angels message to the world, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, JOIN IN with this ecumenical movement. You can see from the news article above that SDA leaders joined in with this interfaith gathering and if you take a look at our pages THE BETRAYAL and WARNING FOR GOD's CHURCH, you will see that the leaders of the SDA church have turned away from the three angels messages and are now in active ecumenism with Rome and the fallen churches of Babylon.

Now these church leaders are attributing this unity movement to the leading of the Holy Spirit. But the Holy Spirit NEVER works in a way that does away with truth. The leaders are deceiving the people into thinking that the Holy Spirit will be poured out if the various churches come together in unity, bringing signs and wonders. But what does the Bible say about signs and wonders in the last days?

2 Thessalonians 2:8-9 ...'And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.'

Matthew 24:24 ...'For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.'

They will be LYING signs and wonders from Satan to deceive 'if possible the very elect.' So we must be on our guard friends and study the Word of God to learn the TRUTH that is in Jesus Christ. If we put aside the truth to unite with apostate churches, then we are putting aside Jesus Christ Himself, because He is THE TRUTH (John 14:6). A false revival is coming and many will be taken in by it, because they do not have a love for the truth. They do not have a true love for God and want the 'easy way' to heaven. But the 'easy, wide road' they take will not lead them to heaven, it will lead them to destruction (Matthew 7:13).
